Privacy Policy.
Last updated: September 24, 2026.
At Prosso Group S.A.S. we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights over it, in accordance with Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled into Decree 1074 of 2015, Title 2, Chapter 25). This policy is governed by Colombian law; the Spanish version is the legally operative one, and this is provided as a courtesy translation.
1. Data controller
Prosso Group S.A.S., a company legally incorporated in Colombia, domiciled at Calle 64J #72A-88, Bogotá D.C., is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website.
Our official contact channel for personal data matters is WhatsApp at +57 315 500 2790 or this site's contact form.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this policy, and under Article 3 of Law 1581 of 2012: Personal data is any information linked or that can be associated with one or more identified or identifiable natural persons. Data subject is the natural person whose data is processed. Processing is any operation on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, circulation, or deletion. Data controller is the party that decides on the database and/or the processing (Prosso Group S.A.S.). Data processor is the party that processes personal data on the controller's behalf (for example, our technology infrastructure providers). Authorization is the data subject's prior, express, and informed consent to process their data.
3. Principles we apply
We process your personal data under the principles of Article 4 of Law 1581 of 2012: legality, purpose, freedom, accuracy/quality, transparency, restricted access and circulation, security, and confidentiality. In practice, this means we only collect the data needed to handle your request, we don't use it for purposes other than those described here without your authorization, and we don't disclose it to unauthorized parties.
4. What data we collect
Through the contact form we collect: your name, a contact email or phone/WhatsApp number, your project type of interest, and the message you send us.
We do not request or collect sensitive data (health, ethnic origin, political or religious opinions, sexual orientation, among others). Please do not include this type of information in your message.
5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
We use browser local storage (localStorage) to remember display preferences you choose yourself (language, color palette, typography, shapes, and accessibility settings); this information stays on your own device, is never transmitted to our servers, and does not identify any person.
This site also uses Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics tool that uses first- and third-party cookies to measure, in aggregate and anonymized form, how many people visit the site, which pages they view, and which channel brought them here. This information helps us improve the site and is not used to identify you individually. You can opt out of this tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings.
If we add other advertising tools involving additional third-party cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent where required by law.
6. What we use your data for (purposes)
We use your data to respond to your request, prepare quotes, follow up commercially on your project, contact you via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and comply with legal or contractual obligations related to handling your request.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes unrelated to Prosso Group.
7. How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure (Firebase/Google Cloud), with reasonable technical, human, and administrative security measures to protect it from tampering, loss, unauthorized or fraudulent access, use, or consultation. Access is restricted to Prosso Group personnel authorized to handle your request, and to data processors (technology providers) operating under our instructions.
8. International transfer and transmission of data
Submitting the form may involve transferring or transmitting your data to servers of our technology providers (Firebase/Google Cloud) located outside Colombia, as permitted under Article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012. These providers are subject to international information-security standards and their own contractual data-protection commitments.
9. How long we keep your data
We retain your data for as long as a commercial relationship exists or is being negotiated with Prosso Group and, once it ends, for the statutory limitation period of any legal, accounting, or tax actions that may arise from it. You may request early deletion of your data at any time, unless a legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
10. Your rights as a data subject
Under Article 8 of Law 1581 of 2012, you have the right to: know, update, and correct your data; request proof of the authorization granted; be informed of how we've used your data; file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce for violations of the law; revoke your authorization and/or request deletion of your data where no legal or contractual duty prevents it; and access your data free of charge.
11. How to exercise your rights
Write to us on WhatsApp at +57 315 500 2790 or through the contact form, clearly stating your request and the information needed to identify you. If you act on the data subject's behalf (for example, as heir or attorney-in-fact), attach the document proving that representation.
We will respond to inquiries within 10 business days of receipt, and to complaints within 15 business days, per Article 14 of Law 1581 of 2012. If we can't handle your request within that time, we'll let you know why and give a new response date, which won't exceed 8 business days beyond the original deadline.
12. Data subject's authorization
By checking the consent box and submitting this site's contact form, you expressly and unambiguously authorize Prosso Group S.A.S. to process your personal data in accordance with this policy. You may revoke this authorization at any time through the channels listed in section 11, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the revocation.
13. Minors
This site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we identify that a minor's data was submitted without authorization from their parents or legal guardians, we will delete it.
14. Information security and incidents
We apply reasonable information-security measures to protect your data, although no system is completely infallible. Should a security incident compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of your personal data, we will notify the affected data subjects and Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce as required by applicable rules.
15. Validity and changes to this policy
This policy is effective as of its publication date and remains in force while Prosso Group processes personal data of its subjects. Any substantial change will be published on this same page, along with its update date.
16. Supervisory authority and governing law
Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) is the national data protection authority. You can learn more about your rights at www.sic.gov.co. This policy is governed by Colombian law.
